Two sisters, Laura and Emily Leyland, had a vision to do recruitment differently. Not louder, pushier or salesy. Just better. More human, honest and personal.
Fast forward to today, and Fresh Perspective Resourcing is celebrating an incredible milestone: 10 years in business.
And honestly? What a journey it’s been.

Like many great businesses, Fresh Perspective didn’t begin in a shiny office with a five-year plan and a huge budget. It started with determination, resilience, and a genuine desire to change the perception of recruitment.
Back then, it was just Laura and Emily working side by side, building relationships, making calls, learning lessons, and pouring everything they had into creating something meaningful.
Now, Fresh Perspective has grown into a thriving team of 12, or 16 if you include the office pugs and Lenny, who definitely count as part of the furniture at this point.
But despite the growth, one thing has never changed: the people-first approach.
That’s always been the heart of Fresh Perspective.

Let’s be honest, recruitment doesn’t always have the best reputation.
It’s an industry that can sometimes feel transactional, impersonal, and driven by targets rather than people. And creating a business that actively challenges that perception? That’s no small task.
Most businesses don’t make it past three years.
Fresh Perspective has now hit ten.
That milestone isn’t just impressive, it’s a reflection of consistency, resilience, adaptability, and a team that genuinely cares about what they do.

Of course, a milestone like this deserved a proper celebration.
The Fresh Perspective 10-year party held at Brindle Distillery brought together familiar faces, clients, friends, family, and people who have been part of the journey across the last decade.
It was a night full of laughter, catch-ups, stories, and probably a few sore heads the next morning after the team “went hard,” as expected.
A huge thank you goes to Brindle Distillery for hosting such an incredible evening and helping create a celebration to remember.
